About Us:  Lauren, Little, Steve, & Popeye

Prior to starting camp in 2014, I was a professional NYC dog walker with my own business and cared for hundreds of pets.

I was raised outside of St. Louis, Missouri. I moved to San Francisco and become an international flight attendant and transferred to NYC. After flying, I was more than ready to work for hairy beasts that greet me with kisses.

To say I love animals is an understatement!! I have traveled solo to see wild orangutans, chimps, and monkeys in Vietnam, Uganda, Kenya, Peru, Brazil, Thailand, as well as hiked deep into the DR Congo to see gorillas living free. I am not kidding when I say I can't get ENOUGH of earth's creatures!!!

Five of my personal pets were found in Central Park (2 pups, 1 kitty, and 2 bunnies) and we shared a lot of life, before each passed in my arms at ripe old ages.

Little is my best girl, and Chief Party Starter at Heaven on Earth. She is a sweet fearless tomboy who loves to chase balls.

Steve is Pug Man on Campus. He loves to run and will snore your dog into another stratosphere during sleep time.

Popeye the bulldog specializes in puppies and high energy dogs. He spends HOURS playing with them in the only way he can; rolling on his back and pretending to stalk them so they feel chased. 

I assure you, we will be great hosts. I care for animals because there genuinely is nothing else (besides touring in a rock band) that I would rather be doing, and that is the truth.
